Adding & Editing an Estimate

S E C T I O N S

The Estimate Form allows you to describe and select the catalog from which to start your estimate. Remember, this is only a starting point. After walking the customer through your showroom and qualifying them, you should have a good idea of their likes, dislikes and budget. Don’t become concerned if your customer changes their mind after you have priced out the entire job. If the customer wants to select a different manufacturer, you would just create a new estimate. Quote Manager will clone it as close as possible to the new cabinet manufacturer.

You also have the option of selecting different status for the estimate. These statuses will be used along with other information to make business decisions. For example, you may wish to see a comparison of the number of walk-in customers versus customers that responded to an advertisement.

Many estimates may be attached to each project; i.e. kitchen, bath, library, etc., and can be included in the final contract.

Program Related Items are set for how the Quote Manager will handle item numbering. Applying a check mark in these fields will arrange the items you enter based on categories for all estimates. For example, if you select cabinet numbering, the cabinets you add to your quote will be in the order of Wall, Base, Tall and so forth, no matter what order you select them in.
